NOTE FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER:
Although my work is very anonymous, I understand that not Every Body wants to be on the internet, therefore I always make sure that I have my clients' permission to be part of my internet portfolio.

I don't believe
in one kind of beauty. Each woman has her own. We should be
able to see beauty in each woman and not try to impose one
kind. For the past fifteen years women of all ages, looks and
walks of life have commissioned me to photograph them in the
nude. For me it has been the most enriching and enlightening
experience of my life, both as an artist and as a woman.
There is a uniqueness in each body, and my preference
is to work with the body exclusively. The face gives away too
much information and takes us away from reading the unique expression
of the body. Also, the face lies more easily than the body. Another
advantage of not showing the face is that the client can hang
up her pictures in all anonymity.
Women have a complex relationship with their bodies
that goes beyond narcissism. They also tend to apologize for
the way they look as if anything short of perfection could not
be acceptable. My main goal is to show each woman her uniqueness,
and ultimately to help her accept her body, regardless of the
latest criteria of beauty. Most of my clients sense that they
are part of a creative process and that they are about to become
part of an art piece. None of them has gone through the experience
before, but they all tell me how exciting it was. The final product
is usually intended to be a surprise gift to a husband or lover
for a special occasion: birthday, anniversary, wedding, valentine,
etc... But in the end they discover that they did it for themselves.
I must have photographed over the years over a
thousand women. I have seen every kind of body and found beauty
in each one. But the most rewarding aspect of my work is the
number of times women have told me that it was one of the most
important experiences in their life. Many have even told me that
it actually changed their life.
